The THEM Project through the Faculty of Engineering Sciences begins its participation in Task-38 - Marine Applications "e-Ships" which is part of the International Energy Agency's Electric Vehicle Technology Collaboration Program "HEV TCT". A milestone that allows THEM to actively participate in an international working group that leads, maintains and promotes the development and application of electric boats, in this sense Joel Perez Osses, director of TEHM comments that it has been a very good experience to obtain and share knowledge with the group which was reflected in the presentation of the project to the members of Task-38 in an online workshop held last December, this presentation showed that in South America Chile leads the way in achieving electromobilization of maritime transport.
